3. Purpose
This site presents VERiXiS, a platform for proof of real capture. We do not attest to a file: we attest to a capture made at the time of the shot. The web workspace is used to organise, seal and verify case files.
A qualified eIDAS timestamp (EU Regulation No 910/2014, Art. 41) enjoys a presumption of accuracy of the date and time and of the integrity of the data. An electronic document has the same evidential value as a paper document when the author can be duly identified and integrity is guaranteed (French Civil Code, Art. 1366); evidence may be provided by any means (Art. 1358). VERiXiS produces a sealed technical proof, not an authentic deed. Qualified eIDAS timestamping is provided by an authority listed on the European trust list.
4. Intellectual property
Trademarks, text, graphics, logos and design elements on the site are protected. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited, except for private use or brief quotation with attribution.
5. Service access
Service access and commercial terms are described in the Terms of use and the Terms of sale.
6. Personal data
Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy. When VERiXiS acts as a processor, see the data processing agreement (DPA).
